My opinion?

No, I don’t have any.

Living with people of conflicting views is really annoying. Having different choices, different taste, different opinions, and different viewpoints on every matter.

At first, I tried to express my opinions and wanted to correct others where they were wrong but when I realised my opinion has no worth and they’re not willing to accept anything new. Instead, they think their norms and thoughts are the best and everyone else is just a dumb.

Many times, I genuinely felt disappointed for getting involved in discussion with this kind of people.

Lately, I realized that I don’t have to give my opinion on 99.9% of matters because it’s just a waste of time. It is something that I started to reflect most of the time. Now, I am doing better with it, and I am completely satisfied with my decision.

For others, it might be a simple change but for me it’s peace of mind. Some may call it weakness or cowardice, but I call it protection.

Protection of my mental health, my happiness, my peace of mind, my energy, and my time.

Now, getting into debates is not my thing. I refuse to take part in conversations and give my opinion.

I wish I could have taken this step sooner because it’s contributing to my self-improvement, and my ultimate goal was same.

Do you also feel the same?
